We are excited to announce expanded management capabilities for Windows Server environments within Hexnode UEM. IT administrators can now extend unified endpoint management across physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted server fleets, eliminating the security risks and operational overhead of manual Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions.

What’s New?

Hexnode UEM now officially supports Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025. Managed servers can now be enrolled, monitored, encrypted, and remediated directly from the Hexnode UEM console.

Key Capabilities

• Flexible Server Enrollment: Provision servers across diverse environments using three dedicated onboarding methods:
  • Hexnode UEM Installer: Web-based setup wizard for GUI-enabled servers.
  • Generic Installer: Static .msi package using Base64 enrollment tokens for offline staging or air-gapped environments.
  • Windows PowerShell: Silent, scriptable deployment ideal for headless Server Core instances and automated provisioning pipelines.
• Remote Infrastructure Orchestration: Execute direct remote actions including Restart Device, Power Off, Scan Device, Lock Device, Wipe Device, and Broadcast Message, without opening interactive RDP sessions.
• BitLocker Encryption Governance: Enforce data-at-rest protection with remote actions including Force BitLocker Encryption, Force BitLocker Decryption, Unlock BitLocker, and Rotate BitLocker Recovery Password.
• Over-the-Air Local Account Governance: Manage local user accounts on Windows Servers remotely using Hexnode UEM. Administrators can execute actions such as Sync Local Accounts, Create User, Change User Role, Change Password, Unlock User Account, Enable User, Disable User, and Delete User directly from the Hexnode UEM console, without relying on Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP).
• Headless Server Core Automation: Use the Execute Custom Script action to run PowerShell or Batch scripts in the background to modify firewall rules, adjust network interfaces, collect event logs, or manage updates without a graphical desktop interface.
