Is it possible to auto launch one app in multi app kiosk mode?Solved

Hi, I have an app deployed in a Single App Kiosk, but I specifically need the app to be locked in portrait mode, and also to auto-launch it. Since I thought forcing portrait orientation wasn’t possible in Single App mode, I added the app to a Multi-App Kiosk as a workaround. Any advice on either getting portrait mode to work or setting up the auto-launch would be greatly appreciated!

I’m not totally sure about forcing portrait in Single App mode. I always thought the app’s own code (the Android manifest, if it’s Android) had to dictate the orientation.

Hi @arthur,

  • Portrait in Single App Mode: You can enforce portrait mode by navigating to Basic Restrictions in Android and configuring the Screen Orientation option.
  • Auto-launching in Multi-App Kiosk: You can also set an application to launch automatically in a multi-app kiosk mode. This can be configured by utilizing the Kiosk Launcher.
