Hi everyone, I need to find out which technician performed a remote wipe action on a device, but I’m unable to locate this information in the Action History. Could someone guide me on where to check this?

How to identify which technician performed an action?Solved

Hey, I’m not completely sure, but you might want to check the logs or audit-related sections in the portal. That’s usually where such activities are tracked.
Hi @laura123,
You can identify the technician who performed the action by navigating to: Reports > Built-in Reports > Audit > Audit history
In the Audit history, you will be able to see the technician’s name along with the corresponding activity details.

That worked perfectly, thank you!
I have another question, if multiple technicians are managing devices, is there a way to set role-based access or restrictions so only specific technicians can perform sensitive actions like remote wipe?
Hi @laura123,
Yes, you can do that. You can create custom roles and configure permissions based on your requirements. While setting up the role, you can choose whether to allow or restrict specific remote actions like remote wipe. This way, only authorized technicians will have access to perform such sensitive operations.
For more information, you can check out the help documentation on Configuring Custom Technicians and Roles.
