I have an iPad listed under Apple Business Manager in Hexnode and the ADE profile status shows as Assigned. The device is not currently manageable in Hexnode yet. Does assigning it in Apple Business Manager automatically enroll it, or is there another step needed to get the Remote Management screen and complete enrollment?

Assigning the iPad to Hexnode in Apple Business does not enroll the device immediately if it has already been set up. Automated Device Enrollment is triggered during the device setup process.
To enroll the iPad into Hexnode management:
- In Hexnode, go to Admin > Apple Business/School Manager > Automated Device Enrollment.
- Locate the iPad and confirm that the ADE profile status is Assigned.
- On the iPad, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad.
- Select Erase All Content and Settings.
- Confirm the erase when prompted.
- After the iPad restarts, connect it to a network during setup.
- The Remote Management screen should appear.
- Complete the on-screen setup to enroll the iPad into Hexnode automatically.
Once enrollment is complete, the device should appear as managed in the Hexnode portal.
