We are excited to introduce a brand-new remote action specifically for your macOS devices: Erase Safari History!
Managing browser data and maintaining privacy on your Mac fleet just got a lot simpler. Administrators can now remotely clear Safari browsing logs directly from the Hexnode console. Whether you are preparing a Mac for a new user, ensuring corporate privacy, or troubleshooting browser issues, you can now manage Safari data without ever needing physical access to the device.
To give you precise control over what gets cleared, we’ve included two specific options:
- Erase entire history: Completely erases all accumulated Safari browsing logs from the device, providing a completely clean slate.
- Erase history aged: Need to target a specific timeframe? Enter the number of days (from 1 to 365), and this option will clear only the history logs generated within that exact time window.
