I’m trying to push an app from Google Play to Android devices using a Hexnode policy. The install action just stays at “initiated” and never completes. The devices are in kiosk mode, and I thought the issue might be because they are not signed in to Google Play.
I added Google Play Store as a background app and checked the app allowlist settings, but that did not change anything. Clearing Google Play Store app data and scanning the device also did not help. When I exit kiosk and try to install from the Hexnode for Work app, it redirects to the Google Play login page. Is there a way to make this work silently without signing into Google Play on every device?
