Hi, quick question. Is there a way to share common mobile phone contacts between the devices enrolled? We pretty much only have android devices.

Hi Viola,

You have an option “Import Contacts to Devices” that lets you share contacts as vCard files between Android devices. You need to first generate .vcf file and then import the file to devices. To generate vcf file,

  1. Open Contacts on your Android device. Hit on the menu button (three-dot icon). Click Export to phone option.
  2. Click “Yes” to confirm. Once completed, copy the vcf file to your system.

On your MDM portal, Click Management > Devices. Select the devices you wish to import the contacts to. Click on Action tab and select “Import contact to device” option.

Upload the vCard file(vcf) and click Import. You also have an option delete existing contacts before you import new ones.
