Android enrollment battery optimization warning on TCL deviceSolved

During Android enrollment on a TCL tablet, I got to the Battery Optimization step for the Hexnode for Work app. I opened the battery optimization settings, found the app in the list, and tapped it, but nothing happened. I continued with enrollment using Proceed, but Hexnode showed a warning. The device appears to be enrolled and working so far. Does skipping this battery optimization step affect device management?

Hello @ryanmoore ,

If the device has enrolled successfully, proceeding past the Battery Optimization prompt should not affect Hexnode device management or the overall functionality of the enrolled device.

During Android enrollment, Hexnode may show options such as Disable Battery Optimization and Proceed. The prompt is intended to guide users to adjust Android battery settings for the Hexnode for Work app where possible. However, if the device does not allow the setting to be changed or tapping the app does not open any option, you can continue enrollment by selecting Proceed.

The warning itself does not indicate that enrollment failed. If the device appears in the Hexnode UEM portal as enrolled and responds normally, management should continue to work as expected.
