Remove broken offline devices stuck in Disenrollment Pending in HexnodeSolved

I’m trying to delete a few broken devices from Hexnode, but they won’t power on anymore. I tried using the Disenroll action from the portal, but nothing seems to happen. These devices are a mix of managed mobile devices, and since they can’t connect to the internet, I’m not sure how to remove them from the inventory properly. What’s the right way to handle broken or permanently offline devices?

When a device is powered off, broken, or permanently offline, it cannot receive the Disenroll command from Hexnode. The command remains pending because the device has no network connection to process it.

For devices that cannot be brought online again, use the manual disenrollment option in the portal.

You can do this from either of these locations:

1. Go to Manage.

2. Select the broken or offline devices.

3. Open the Actions/Manage dropdown.

4. Choose Mark as Disenrolled.

Alternatively:

1. Go to Reports > Built-in Reports > Devices > Disenrollment Pending Devices.

2. Select the affected devices.

3. Click Action.

4. Select Mark as Disenrolled.

This is the recommended workaround for devices that cannot receive remote commands anymore. It updates their status in Hexnode without waiting for the device to come online.
