Hello @lucaas ,
Apple Configurator on iPadOS can be used to add eligible iPhone and iPad devices to Apple Business. However, it does not support Apple Configurator Blueprints.
Blueprints are available only in Apple Configurator for macOS. The iPadOS version is a streamlined app intended for declaring/registering devices into Apple Business, not for importing or applying Blueprint-based configurations.
For a Hexnode-managed workflow, the recommended approach is:
- Use Apple Configurator on the iPad to add the target device to Apple Business.
- In Apple Business, assign the device to the Hexnode MDM server.
- Let the device enroll through Automated Device Enrollment.
- Deploy configurations, restrictions, apps, and other settings over the air from Hexnode.
With this approach, the Mac and Blueprint are not needed for normal automated enrollment and configuration. You would still need Apple Configurator on macOS if your workflow depends on local USB provisioning, offline app installation, or applying existing Mac-based Blueprints directly.
