This error typically occurs if the Hexnode portal is not running on the latest available version following a portal-side upgrade or URL migration. In this scenario, the policy configuration itself is usually not the problem.
To resolve this, please try the following recommended checks:
- Log out of the Hexnode UEM portal and sign back in.
- Open the affected Android policy.
- Make a small change or modify the required app permission setting.
- Save the policy again.
If the error still appears, you can reach out to support to check if the portal is on the correct version and to have it updated. Once the portal is updated, saving the existing policy should work normally without the need to recreate it.
