Got it. If Apple DEP (now called Automated Device Enrollment via Apple Business) is the requirement, then you’ll need at least the Pro plan.

Right. The lower tiers handle basic device management, but Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) requires more advanced capabilities like zero-touch enrollment, supervision, and policy enforcement during setup — those are included starting from the Pro plan.
