I’m trying to set up a shared iPad setup, but I don’t see any related options inside the policy settings. Am I missing something here?

Hi @melora! I understand what you’re trying to achieve. But it is not possible to convert an already enrolled iPad into a shared device. The device must be configured as a Shared iPad during enrollment using Apple Business.

Ah okay. That might be why I’m not seeing anything. But I also don’t see any option to pre-configure this before enrolling the device.

You’ll need to configure this from the enrollment profile.
Go to:
Enroll tab → iOS → Apple Business/School Manager → Enrollment Profiles → select your profile → Shared device settings.
That’s where you can set up a Shared iPad. To know more, refer to our help documentation on Configuring Shared Device Settings for iOS via Hexnode UEM.
