Hey everyone, quick question.
We had two devices that were already factory reset by the end users. Now they’re still showing up in the portal and we want to delete them. Since they’re wiped and offline, what’s the correct way to remove them?

If they were factory reset before being removed from the portal, you shouldn’t directly delete them. Even if they’re offline, you still need to complete the disenrollment process from the console first.
But they’re not communicating anymore. We can’t send any actions to them.
Hi @desmond,
For devices that are already factory reset or offline, you can manually complete the disenrollment process.
Here’s what you can do:
This allows you to complete the disenrollment even if the device isn’t checking in.
For more information, check out the help documentation on device disenrollment.

Got it. Once we mark them as disenrolled, do we need to adjust licenses manually?
Hi @desmond,
No, manual downgrades are not required. Once the device is marked as disenrolled, the license is automatically freed up and becomes available for reuse.
