Hey everyone, I’m trying to push a particular patch to install on all devices using Automation. The patches are visible under Patches and Updates, but when I go to Patches Automation to add and install, the update doesn’t show up. I even tried “Scan for Updates” on the device end, but still no luck, the patch is available locally on the device but not listed in Hexnode for those devices. Has anyone faced this?
Why isn’t my patch showing up in Hexnode Automation?Solved

Yeah, I’ve run into something similar before. Sometimes Hexnode doesn’t immediately sync certain OS-level updates into the automation list. Did you check if the patch is categorized differently?
I agree with that. In my case, the patch was under Other Updates instead of the usual security or feature updates. Hexnode seems to classify some patches differently depending on the OS vendor.
Thanks for sharing the details, we completely understand the situation. This occurs because operating systems categorize patches differently.
Could you please check in: Target OS > Other Updates > Select Update Type as Other Updates
You should see the patch listed there. Once it’s identified, you can configure automation to install it across devices. This classification difference is why the patch appears on the device after a scan but doesn’t immediately show up in the automation list. Checking Other Updates usually resolves this mismatch.

Ah, that makes sense. I didn’t realize patches could be tucked away under Other Updates. I’ll definitely check there next time before assuming Hexnode missed it.
Same here, I was scratching my head when a update wasn’t showing up. After looking under Other Updates, it popped right up.
