We’ve got some exciting news – our Okta integration just got a sleek upgrade! No need to panic – we’re not dropping support. In fact, we’re making things easier for you.
With our upcoming Hexnode update, we’re streamlining the Okta integration by shifting from the old API token method to a more secure and simplified Client Credentials flow.
What you’ll need to do:
- Add the Hexnode app to your Okta admin console.
- Grab your Client ID and Client Secret from Okta.
- Use these credentials to reconfigure your integration within Hexnode.
Points to remember:
- You won’t be able to modify existing Okta configurations using the old method.
- Your current Okta setup will still work as it is – no disruptions!
- But if you need to make any changes or want access to future Okta updates (including the upcoming Okta Device Trust feature), you’ll need to reconfigure using Client Credentials.
