One of our Windows devices is showing offline/inactive in Hexnode. I still have physical access to the device, but when I open the Hexnode UEM app and try to sync manually, the sync does not go through. Has anyone fixed this without reinstalling the agent?

Hi @tom_wilson ,

If the Windows device is available but shows offline in the Hexnode portal, try refreshing its status from the console after the manual sync attempt fails.

Recommended steps:

  1. Open the Hexnode UEM app on the Windows device and try a manual sync.
  2. If the sync does not complete, go to the Hexnode portal.
  3. Open the device details page for the affected Windows device.
  4. Go to Actions > Scanning & Monitoring > Scan Device.
  5. Wait for the device status and action history to refresh.

This can refresh the connection status and update the device’s latest check-in details in the portal. In many cases, this brings a device that appears inactive or offline back to active status without reinstalling the agent.
