I’m managing a few enrolled Windows 11 Pro devices and want to update the Hexnode UEM agent to the latest version. I saw a suggestion to download the latest MSI, but I can’t find any MSI download link for the agent. Is there a proper way to update the Hexnode agent on already enrolled Windows devices?

Hi @skylar-a,

For enrolled Windows devices, you do not need to manually download or deploy an MSI file to update the Hexnode UEM agent.

You can trigger the update from the Hexnode console:

  1. Go to the Manage tab.
  2. Open the Windows device.
  3. Navigate to Device Summary.
  4. Check Enrollment Details.
  5. Look for the Hexnode UEM Agent or Hexnode Service app version.
  6. If an update is available, click Update next to the agent version.

Hexnode will then deploy the latest agent version to the device automatically.

I checked the Enrollment Details section, but I don’t see an Update button next to the agent version. Does that mean something is wrong with the enrollment?

Hi @skylar-a,

No, the missing Update button does not usually indicate an enrollment issue.

If the Update button is not shown next to the Hexnode UEM Agent or Hexnode Service app version, it means the agent installed on that Windows device is already on the latest available version. The Update option is displayed only when a newer agent version is available for that device.

So, in this case, no manual MSI download or additional deployment is required.
