Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to Hexnode Connect.
This specific behavior is almost always caused by a third-party browser extension injecting scripts into the page and interfering with the portal’s UI elements after the page finishes loading. Security extensions or password managers are the most common culprits, as they often attempt to hook into form fields.
To isolate this, please open your Hexnode portal in a private or incognito browsing window. Since most extensions are disabled by default in this mode, test the policy editor page there. If the Save and Cancel buttons function normally in the incognito window, the issue is definitively an extension conflict.
To resolve the issue in your primary session, return to your normal browser window and disable your extensions one by one, reloading the policy page each time. This will help you pinpoint exactly which extension is hijacking the buttons so you can disable it specifically for the Hexnode portal.
I hope this helps. If you find any more issues or need further assistance feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
George,
