Looking forward to update OS on Android devices remotely? We got it covered.
With Hexnode’s latest release, you can now remotely deploy OS updates on devices running Android 5 and above. Provide the file URL and MD5 hash of the update ZIP file, and you’re done.
However, ensure that your devices are deployed with the System Agent App in /system/app directory and signed by the OEM vendor.
You can also set the devices to install software updates automatically, or you can allow the devices to show prompt to install the updates.
Here is how you can do this!
Go to Manage > Devices > Select the devices > Actions > Update OS.
