Hello @mila_beck
For Android kiosk policies, make sure the app added to the kiosk is the official Microsoft OneDrive app and not a similarly named local app entry.
Try the following:
- Go to Manage > Devices and open the affected device.
- Use Actions > Scanning & Monitoring > Scan for apps to refresh the app inventory on the device.
- After the scan completes, check the Applications sub-tab and search for OneDrive.
- In the kiosk policy, remove the incorrectly selected “One Drive” entry if it was added earlier.
- Search for and add the official “Microsoft OneDrive” app under the multi-app kiosk app selection.
- Save and reapply the policy to the device.
Also check whether OneDrive was added under Background apps in the kiosk policy. If it is listed there, remove it from Background apps first and then add it as a regular multi-app kiosk app. Apps added only as background apps are allowed to run in the background but may not appear as launchable kiosk apps.
if the app launches but file picking or document browsing does not work properly, the Android system document picker activity may also need to be allowed in the policy.
The activity is: ‘com.android.documentsui.picker.PickActivity‘
You can add this package to the Hexnode app inventory as an app with Bundle ID, and then include it in the Background Apps section of your kiosk policy.
This is separate from making the OneDrive icon appear. The OneDrive app itself should still be added as the main Microsoft OneDrive app in the multi-app kiosk list.

Simon Scott
