Managing Windows devices remotely just got more convenient. With Shortcut Keys in Hexnode UEM’s Remote View and Remote Control sessions, administrators can now send OS-level commands directly to a remote Windows device while the session is active.

This makes it easier to perform common system-level actions remotely without relying on the device’s physical keyboard.

With this update, you can use the following shortcut key:

  • Control Alt Delete: Opens the Windows Security screen on the remote device, giving you access to actions such as locking the device, switching users, signing out, changing passwords, and opening Task Manager.

To use shortcut keys, start an active Remote View or Remote Control session on a Windows device and select the required shortcut from the Shortcut Keys option.

For more information, refer to our documentation on Remote View and Remote Control for Windows.
