We recently set up Hexnode for iPads and added three custom icons. They are showing up on the second home screen page by default, but I want them placed on the main home screen.

I found references to configuring this from iOS > Configurations > Home Screen Layout, but I don’t see that option in the policy settings. Is this hidden somewhere else, or is it tied to a specific plan?

Hi @josiah,

To arrange icons on an iPad home screen through Hexnode, you need to use the Home Screen Layout policy.

This configuration lets you define the placement of apps and custom icons on the iOS/iPadOS home screen instead of allowing them to appear automatically on later pages.

The policy is available under Policies > New Policy or existing policy > iOS > Configurations > Home Screen Layout.

If the Home Screen Layout option is not visible or appears unavailable, it usually means the feature is not included in the current subscription plan. For example, this configuration is not available on the Enterprise plan and requires the Ultimate plan.

Without the Home Screen Layout policy, Hexnode cannot precisely move those custom icons from the second page to the main home screen.
