Yes, you read that right — Hexnode Access now extends to Linux devices, giving you the same identity-driven login control you’ve come to know on other platforms.
Here’s what you get with Hexnode Access on Linux:

- A dedicated Login with Work Account option at the greeter.
- Secure sign-in via your Identity Provider.
- Automatic provisioning/linking of local Linux accounts after successful IdP login.
- Limit Offline Access (LOA) — control how long a linked user can access the desktop before requiring re-authentication.
- Support for offline fallback scenarios, so users aren’t locked out unnecessarily.
Identity Provider support: Currently, Hexnode Access on Linux supports sign-in via Okta.
Platform support: This release supports an Xorg-based session only. Supported distros include:

- Ubuntu (GNOME + GDM)
- Fedora (KDE Plasma + SDDM)
- Linux Mint (Cinnamon/XFCE/MATE + LightDM)
