App updates (and installation) on Samsung SAFE devices work silently with enterprise apps only. With store apps, Hexnode MDM can only redirect the user to the corresponding apps on Play Store and they have to manually tap Install/Update. However, you can always push silent updates by getting the updated APK file and adding it as an Enterprise app on Hexnode MDM.
It’s a good practice to have Auto-updates enabled on the user devices so that Store apps are automatically updated.
