Configure AirPlay settings on Macs Solved

Apple’s AirPlay allows users to wirelessly share music, videos, and photos from Macs to Apple TVs, speakers, and other smart TVs. As exciting a feature as it is, in a corporate environment, it may pose security and privacy risks for corporate devices connecting to various devices over AirPlay.

This is where Hexnode UEM’s AirPlay policy comes into the picture. With this policy, IT admins can specify the devices to which managed macOS devices are allowed to connect via AirPlay. Not only does the policy restrict unauthorized connections, but it also simplifies the connection process. Users won’t need to manually enter AirPlay passwords on the devices, as they will be configured within the policy.

We hope you’ll find this policy as valuable as we do. Try it out and share your feedback with us. We’re eager to hear from you.

For further details and step-by-step guidance on configuring the policy, please refer to our help document.

Best regards,
