I tried enrolling my Android phone, but right after I typed the server name it threw a certificate error. Not sure what’s wrong here.
Certificate error during Android enrollmentSolved

Could it be something with the phone’s time settings? I once had a weird SSL error when my clock was off, but I’m not sure if that’s the same thing.
Hello @im_dany ,
A certificate error during Android enrollment might happen when the device time is out of sync, which breaks the SSL handshake with the Hexnode UEM server. The first step is to enable Set time automatically in the device settings, so it syncs with the network. It’s also important to check that the device is running the latest OS security patch and that the server URL is entered exactly as provided.

I’ve also seen people get stuck with invalid server errors. Sometimes they type the whole https:// thing in front. Could that be the issue?
Yes, that’s a common cause. The Hexnode agent automatically appends the secure https:// protocol and the .hexnodemdm.com domain. If a user types it manually, the string breaks. The correct way is to enter only the subdomain, for example “yourcompany”, and the agent will complete it as yourcompany.hexnodemdm.com.
