I’m trying to remove a few devices from Hexnode UEM, but the delete option does not seem to work for some of them. These devices were added earlier and now appear as registered/enrolled in the portal. Is there a different way to delete them or free up the license slots?

If the devices are already registered or actively enrolled in Hexnode UEM, they cannot be removed directly using the Delete option. You need to disenroll them first so that the management link between Hexnode and the device is removed. To disenroll the devices:

  1. Go to the Manage tab.
  2. Select the enrolled devices you want to remove.
  3. Click the Actions dropdown.
  4. Choose Disenroll Device.
  5. Confirm the action.

Once the devices are disenrolled, they will no longer be actively managed, and the associated license slots can be freed up. If there are remaining pre-approved or inactive entries after disenrollment, those can then be removed as needed.
