Hi, I’m facing a dilemma. While creating some accounts for my organization, I accidentally assigned the role of administrator instead of standard user. Can these accounts uninstall the MDM app from the devices since they have admin privileges, or is the app removable by any account regardless of its role?

I think it’s not possible for standard users to uninstall the MDM app, but you have to test it out to confirm.

The ability to remove the Hexnode UEM app varies based on account roles of the local user.
- Standard Account:
Standard users cannot uninstall the Hexnode UEM app from a managed device. If they attempt to do so, they will receive a notification requesting administrator permission and credentials to delete the app.
In case of Windows devices,
In case of macOS devices,
- Administrator Account:
Administrator accounts do have the capability to uninstall the Hexnode UEM app.
You can change an administrator account to a standard account on both Windows as well as macOS devices from the Hexnode UEM console.
