I’m trying to create a macOS .mobileconfig profile that automatically enables Location Services for the Hexnode UEM Helper app. Is there a supported payload for this, or any established process to pre-approve the location permission through MDM?

Apple does not allow MDM configuration profiles to automatically enable Location Services for apps on macOS.
Although Privacy Preferences Policy Control profiles can be used to pre-approve certain privacy permissions, such as Accessibility or Full Disk Access, Location Services is explicitly excluded from PPPC automation by Apple for privacy reasons.
For Hexnode UEM Helper, the location permission must be approved through user interaction. The user will need to allow the location request when prompted, or enable it manually from macOS privacy settings.
