I just set up my Hexnode account and this is my very first time logging into the portal. I am trying to figure out how to add my devices, specifically my MacBook. Could someone please walk me through how to enroll my Mac?

You have reached the right place! The portal can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but Mac enrollment is actually pretty straightforward. You can start with ADE enrollment of Macs, if you’re using company devices.

Enrolling your first macOS device is easily doable. Depending on your setup, the steps will vary. If these are company-owned devices, we highly recommend Automated Device Enrollment (ADE) via Apple Business for maximum control. If you don’t have Apple Business set up, or if these are personal devices (BYOD), you can use our manual methods like Open Enrollment or Authenticated Enrollment.
