Android wipe initiated in Hexnode: can it be reversed and how to fix QR re-enrollment error?Solved

A wipe command was accidentally sent to an Android device from Hexnode. The action now shows as Initiated/In progress in the device action history. Is there any way to cancel or reverse the wipe at this point? Also, once the device is reset, will it need to be enrolled again from the out-of-box setup screen?

Once a wipe action reaches the Initiated stage, it cannot be reversed or stopped because the command has already been delivered to the device or is being processed by it.
You can verify the action status from:
Manage > Devices > select the device > Action History
Only actions that are still in the Pending state can be canceled. If the wipe is already Initiated or In progress, the device will proceed with the reset and must be re-enrolled after it returns to the Android setup or welcome screen.
For wipe commands, the action may not always update to Success in the Hexnode portal. After the device is wiped, the device management component is removed, so the device may no longer be able to report the final success status back to Hexnode.
