I’m trying to add devices to a device group in Hexnode. I’m not sure if I should be adding them manually somewhere or if the group should pick them up automatically. What’s the correct way to add devices to an existing device group?

In Hexnode, the method depends on whether the device group is a custom device group or a dynamic device group.
For a custom device group, devices are added manually:
- Go to Manage.
- Open Device Groups.
- Select the required custom device group.
- Click Add Devices.
- Select the devices you want to include and save the changes.
A custom device group is static, so devices remain in the group until you manually add or remove them.
For a dynamic device group, devices cannot be added manually. Dynamic groups are populated based on the rules or conditions configured for the group, such as platform, OS version, ownership type, enrollment status, or other matching criteria. If a device matches the configured rules, Hexnode adds it to the group automatically.
