500 Internal Server Error on Hexnode Patches & Updates dashboardSolved

The Patches & Updates dashboard in our Hexnode UEM portal is failing to load. Other pages in the portal open normally, but this tab shows an error on the webpage.

I tried opening it again in another browser and also tested with a private/incognito window, but the same issue comes back. The browser console points to a server-side error, and the page still does not load after refreshing.

Has anyone seen this happen only on the Patches & Updates screen? Is there anything else to try from the browser side, or does this need to be fixed from Hexnode’s side?

Hi @sybylla,

Welcome to the Hexnode Community.

If the issue is isolated to the Patches & Updates dashboard while the rest of the Hexnode UEM portal loads correctly, start by ruling out a browser-side problem:

  1. Clear the browser cache.
  2. Open the portal in a private/incognito window.
  3. Try a different browser.
  4. Perform a hard refresh after signing in again.

If the same page continues to fail across browsers and the console shows a 500 Internal Server Error, it usually indicates that the request is reaching the server but the dashboard data is not being processed correctly. In that case, this is not something that can be resolved by changing local browser settings.

The recommended path is to report the issue to Hexnode Support at support@hexnode.com with the following non-sensitive details:

  • Confirmation that only the Patches & Updates tab is affected.
  • Whether other portal pages load normally.
  • The visible error message, such as 500 Internal Server Error.
  • A screenshot of the browser console showing the error, with any sensitive details redacted.

Once the server-side correction is applied, clear the browser cache or open a new incognito session and reload the Patches & Updates dashboard.
