I had seen this before. Just click into the device, and from the Actions menu pick Mark as disenrolled. That worked for me.
Okayy, but I’ve loads of devices in this state and doing this one by one will be painful. Can I do this in bulk?

Yes, you can bulk-remove devices in a pending disenrollment state. Please navigate to Reports > Built-in Reports > Device > Disenrollment pending devices. There you’ll find the list of devices awaiting disenrollment completion. Select the ones you wish to remove, then from the Actions dropdown choose Mark as disenrolled. Confirm the action, and the devices will be removed from the portal.
