Windows BitLocker force encryption: Proceed button disabled in HexnodeSolved

I’m trying to force BitLocker encryption on a Windows laptop from Hexnode. BitLocker is not currently enabled on the device, and a BitLocker policy is already associated with it. However, when I open the Force BitLocker Encryption action, the Proceed button stays greyed out no matter what I try. Is there a required setting I might be missing?

Hi @miliie,

The Proceed button remains disabled if the required Fallback Password field is empty.

When forcing BitLocker encryption from Hexnode, enter a Fallback Password before proceeding. This password is used to unlock the drive on devices that do not have a supported TPM chipset. The password must be at least 8 characters long.

Once a valid Fallback Password is entered, the Proceed button should become active, provided the BitLocker policy is already associated with the device.
