Your device-management events can now flow directly into your existing Jira workflows. Hexnode UEM now integrates with both Jira and Jira Service Management (JSM), allowing administrators to automatically create tickets in Jira or JSM when events meet the conditions configured in an Alert Profile.
With these integrations, you can:
- Connect Jira or JSM: Securely connect Hexnode UEM to your Atlassian environment using OAuth 2.0 credentials and select the Jira or JSM project where tickets should be created.
- Automate ticket creation: Configure Create a Jira ticket or Create a Jira Service Management ticket as an Alert Profile action. When the configured event occurs, Hexnode automatically sends the specified ticket details and relevant event information to the selected project.
- Manage integrations: View integration details, sync available projects, activate or deactivate the integration, update OAuth credentials, or remove the integration from Admin > Integrations > Configured Integrations.
- Monitor ticket creation: Use Action History to track ticket creation attempts, filter them by Success or Failed status, and view the associated Alert Profile, event, and ticket ID.
- Open tickets directly: Select a ticket ID from Action History to open the corresponding issue in Jira or ticket in JSM.
- Export history: Download ticket creation records in PDF or CSV format for auditing, reporting, or troubleshooting.
To get started, configure Jira or Jira Service Management under Admin > Integrations > Available Integrations, then add the corresponding ticket creation action to an Alert Profile.
