Hi @skylar-a,
This message usually means Apple is still processing the VPP asset association for the app license. It is not typically a red flag, especially for newly added supervised devices or newly assigned VPP licenses.
You can manually refresh the VPP license information from Hexnode:
1. Go to Admin > Apple Business/School Manager > Apple VPP.
2. Locate the active VPP account.
3. Click the Sync icon.
4. After the sync completes, go to the Apps tab.
5. Open the app you are deploying and confirm that VPP licenses are available.
If the app has available licenses and the device is included in the app deployment target, the installation should begin once Apple completes the asset association. Some delay can still occur on Apple’s side during license processing or high-traffic periods.
For iOS Multi-App Kiosk Mode, Apple does not provide an MDM restriction to enforce a global screen orientation lock across all apps.
Screen orientation lock through MDM is supported only in Single App Kiosk Mode. In Multi-App Kiosk Mode, orientation behavior is controlled by the individual apps or adjusted manually on the device.
If a fixed orientation is required for a specific app-only workflow, Single App Kiosk Mode is the supported approach. For multi-app setups, there is no Hexnode policy setting that can force one orientation system-wide on iOS.

Sienna Carter
