For iOS Web App Kiosk mode using Safari, there is no local kiosk exit password option available. The kiosk exit password workflow applies to Hexnode Browser Lite-based web kiosk configurations, not Safari.
If the iPad is online, the recommended method is to remove or modify the kiosk policy from the Hexnode portal and let the device receive the updated policy.
If the iPad has no internet connection and cannot receive remote commands, you can remove the installed management profile using Apple Configurator on a Mac:
1. Connect the iPad to a Mac with Apple Configurator installed.
2. Open Apple Configurator.
3. Select the connected iPad.
4. Right-click the device, then choose Remove > Profiles.
5. Select the installed profile that is enforcing kiosk mode.
6. Click Remove Profiles and confirm the action.
Once the profile is removed, the Safari kiosk restriction will no longer be applied on the device.
