I’m trying to install Splashtop on Android devices managed through Hexnode. The devices are enrolled as Android Enterprise Device Owner devices. When I search for the app in the Play Store on the device, I can’t install it. I also tried installing it from the Hexnode portal using the Install Application action, but the app did not show up in the search results there either. What is the correct way to add and install a Play Store app like Splashtop on Android Enterprise devices?

Hi @thomas_m,
For Android Enterprise Device Owner devices, apps should be added to Hexnode UEM first before they can be deployed from the portal.
Try the following:
- Go to Apps in the Hexnode portal.
- Click + Add Apps.
- Select Store Apps.
- Choose Android.
- Search for Splashtop and add it to the app repository.
After the app is added to the repository, you can install it on the device using either of these methods:
- Go to the device page and use Actions > Applications > Install Application, then select Splashtop.
- Add Splashtop under Required Apps in a policy and assign the policy to the required devices.
Adding the app to the repository alone does not automatically install it on devices.
