Hi, I’m setting up Android tablets for different customers and want policies to be applied automatically depending on which enrollment profile was used.
I first tried creating a Dynamic Device Group, but I don’t see an option to set the criteria as “devices enrolled using a specific enrollment profile.” Is there another way to make this work without manually moving devices after enrollment?

Hexnode currently does not support using the enrollment profile as a criterion for Dynamic Device Groups.
For Android Enterprise enrollments, the recommended approach is to use a Custom Device Group with the enrollment profile:
When devices enroll through that profile, they are added to the selected device group, and the policy associated with the group is applied automatically.

Thanks, using a custom device group worked.
One more thing: can the device name also be set automatically during enrollment? Ideally something like a prefix plus the serial number.

In the enrollment profile settings, set the required device naming format using Personalized device name option under Enrolled device name in Device Configurations. You can use a static prefix along with supported wildcards, such as the serial number placeholder, to generate names like
