Device stuck in Disenrollment Pending after disenroll – will the license be released?Solved

I have a device that we are no longer going to use, and I want to unenroll it so we can enroll another device in its place. I already went to Manage, selected the device, and used Actions > Disenroll Device. The device now shows as pending. Does the device need to be turned on for the disenrollment to complete, and will this free up the license for a new device?

If the device has already been disenrolled from Manage > Devices using Actions > Disenroll Device, you can clear it from the pending state through the Reports section.

Go to Reports > Inbuilt Reports > Disenrollment Pending Device, select the device, then use the available Action option to mark it as disenrolled.

The device does not need to be powered on for this step. Once it is marked as disenrolled from the Disenrollment Pending Device report, the associated license is released and can be used to enroll another device.
