Hey folks, we’re using Hexnode’s single app kiosk mode on android. Right now the app launches instantly once the kiosk policy is applied. Is there a way to add a delay before it starts?

Ah, I guess you can use the launcher settings for that but I don’t think that’ll do for single app kiosk.

Yes, you can set a launch delay for the app in single app kiosk by configuring the it through the Hexnode kiosk launcher settings. Please select your policy from the Policies tab and click Manage > Modify. Then go to Kiosk Lockdown > Android Kiosk Lockdown > Launcher and configure the option App auto‑launch delay as required.

Okayy, while checking the launcher settings, I noticed options for customizing the kiosk like icon size and font color. Do those changes apply only inside the kiosk, or do they affect the whole device?

Don’t worry, those tweaks are just for the kiosk mode. They won’t mess with the rest of your device.
