Can we set a default font for Office Apps via Hexnode?Solved

Hi everyone!

Our branding team has mandated that all company documents must use Helvetica Neue instead of Microsoft’s default font. We currently manage around 150 macOS devices and 200 Windows laptops using Hexnode UEM.

Is there a way to enforce a default font across Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) using Hexnode? I’d really prefer not to manually configure each device.

You can explore the Policies section in Hexnode to check if font-related configurations are available. Additionally, reviewing App Configurations might help, depending on how Office apps accept managed settings.

Hi @elliot,

For Windows devices, you can use the Execute Custom Script action to deploy a PowerShell script that modifies the default font settings for Microsoft Office applications.

For macOS devices, you can use the Deploy Custom Configuration feature to deploy a configuration profile that adjusts the default font settings.

Please note that this may involve customizing application preferences rather than a direct built-in policy for fonts.
