Hey folks, is there a way to roll back OS updates that I’ve already deployed through Hexnode? I’m mainly looking at macOS and Windows devices.

For macOS, once a patch or OS update has been deployed, it cannot be reverted through Hexnode UEM. Apple does not provide a rollback mechanism for system updates, so the update remains in place once installed.
For Windows, certain updates can be uninstalled but only those that appear under Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates on the device. In the Hexnode UEM console, you’ll see these updates listed under the Automate > Manual Patch workflow for Windows. If the update you want to revert is available in that list, you can select it and use the Uninstall option to trigger the rollback remotely from the portal.
