Hey everyone, I’m trying to run a website in web app kiosk mode on an Android TV (TCL Smart TV). When the website loads in Hexnode Browser Lite, some elements on the page appear misaligned. Just wondering if anyone else has run into something like this or knows a workaround.

Hi @monty, thanks for reaching out.

Could you please provide more details about the exact alignment issue you are experiencing? For example, which elements are overlapping or misaligned?

Looking forward to your response.

Hi, what happens is that the bottom banner on the website overlaps the names listed on the page. It stretches across the content and blocks part of the text. When we manually zoom out, the layout looks normal and the issue disappears. However, since this is running in kiosk mode, users cannot manually adjust the zoom level.

Hi @monty, thanks for the clarification.

This appears to be related to the website’s responsiveness rather than a configuration issue with Hexnode Browser Lite. The browser uses Android WebView to render webpages, so the layout depends on how the website adapts to different screen resolutions and viewport sizes.

If the website isn’t optimized for certain resolutions, elements like banners may overlap other content. In such cases, updating or optimizing the website’s responsive design should help ensure the layout adapts properly across different screen sizes.

Got it, thanks for the help. I’ll check with our web team and see if we can tweak the site’s responsiveness.
