Hi folks, does Hexnode support managing Amazon Fire OS tablets and VR/AR devices like Apple Vision Pro? We’re exploring these for retail and training environments, and I’d love to know what’s possible.

I’ve played around with Fire tablets in Hexnode. They’re definitely manageable, but since Fire OS doesn’t have Google Play Services, you can’t use Android Enterprise hooks. Hexnode uses its agent-based installer to sideload apps. That worked fine for us when deploying custom APKs.
Yep, same here. We locked down Fire tablets into kiosk mode so staff only saw the apps they needed. It bypassed the ad-heavy Fire OS home screen, which was a lifesaver. Connectivity profiles also worked — we pushed Wi-Fi and certificates remotely.
Thankyou all for your inputs.
Yes, Hexnode UEM supports both Fire OS and visionOS devices. Fire OS management is achieved via agent-based sideloading, kiosk lockdown, and enterprise connectivity. VisionOS devices, such as Apple Vision Pro, can be enrolled through ADE or account-driven enrollment, with full application management and remote actions available. Security and inventory features apply to both platforms.

That’s neat. I didn’t realize Vision Pro could be enrolled like other Apple devices. Makes it easier to treat them as part of the fleet.
True, but geofencing isn’t really specialized for Fire OS or visionOS yet. I’d love to see more tailored workflows for immersive endpoints. Still, location tracking and compliance rules are solid.
I’m excited about the broadcast messaging feature for VR. Imagine pushing a quick alert to all headsets during a training session, that’s kinda powerful.
