Hi, could you please confirm if there’s any limit on how many users, we can create in the Hexnode UEM portal?

Hey @stevenhere ! There is no fixed limit on the number of users you can create or import into the Hexnode portal.

You can add users in different ways, such as:

  • Manually creating users in the portal.
  • Bulk importing users using a CSV file.
  • Syncing users from directory services like Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, or Okta.

If you need clarification for a specific setup, you can also contact support@hexnode.com for more details.

That’s helpful, thanks. Are there any other limits we should be aware of?

Yes, while users themselves are not limited, there are two areas where limits or costs do come into play.

  1. Device licenses

Hexnode licensing is based on the number of devices enrolled, not the number of users.

For example, you might have hundreds of users listed in the portal, but if you’ve purchased 50 device licenses, you can only enroll 50 devices.

Also, please note that Hexnode subscriptions have a minimum purchase requirement of 15 device licenses.

  2. Technician accounts

Technicians are the admins who log in to the Hexnode portal to manage devices, policies, and users.

The number of technician accounts allowed depends on your subscription plan:

    • Pro: 2 technicians
    • Enterprise: 3 technicians
    • Ultimate: 4 technicians
    • Ultra: 5 technicians
  3. If you need more admins, additional technician licenses can be purchased.
