HelloI have added a URL to a web-app kiosk using Edge browser on a smart screen device that uses Windows. The URL is a sign-on page for one of the applications we use, but howsoever I try, the on-screen keyboard seems to not pop-up at all. Is there any way to make it appear?

@noah-blake  , Did you try changing any of the registry keys in your device? May be that can help.

@josiah , Which registry keys should I change? And how do I do it?

@noah-blake , Search for the “Registry Editor” in your device’s start menu and navigate to the path HKLM\Software\Microsoft\TabletTip\1.7\ . Further, change the value of two keys, EnableDesktopbodeAutoInvoke and DisableNewKeyboardexperience to 1. Both are of the REG_DWORD type. Also change the value of TabletMode (also an REG_DWORD) key under the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ImmersiveShell to 1. This should do the trick.

Hello @noah-blake , Currently, Hexnode’s Web-App Kiosk is limited to the Edge and Microsoft Kiosk browsers. Because this mode is designed for maximum restriction, auxiliary software utilities like on-screen keyboards are not supported and will remain blocked during the kiosk session.
