Ever found yourself juggling shared admin passwords across multiple devices? Or worse, worrying if a leaked credential is giving attackers a backdoor into your network? We’ve got you covered.

Meet Hexnode LAPS (Local Administrator Password Solution), your new go-to for Windows device security. With Hexnode LAPS, you can:

  • Automatically generate and rotate strong, unique passwords for each local admin account.
  • Securely store them in the Hexnode console, accessible only to authorized IT admins.
  • Stop lateral movement attacks like Pass-the-Hash before they even begin.

But that’s not all…

To add more flexibility, we’re also introducing the Rotate local admin password remote action. This works hand in hand with the Hexnode LAPS policy, allowing admins to immediately rotate a local admin password whenever needed. Once triggered, the password is instantly updated, securely stored in the Hexnode UEM console, and the regular rotation schedule resumes seamlessly.
